How can they keep Steve Marriott out after being in the company of both of these bands? Well I figure KC and the SUNSHINE BAND will get in, that is if they aren't in already. Humble Pie is as stated simply an idiom for recognising that you made an error and that you feel sorrow over it. From there I begin to rationalize, with the impact the Small Faces had in Europe, that really should be enough to get them in.?.I mean how can you keep Steve Marriott out in company with Ronnie Lane, Kenny Jones and Ian MacLagan?. Its hard to think they can't get in the hall of fame. It reached number 52 on the US Billboard 200 album chart. Members included Frampton, Ridley, Shirley,Clemson and Tench to name a few, all very talented and well respected. Thunderbox is the seventh studio album by English hard rock group Humble Pie, released in 1974. Humble Pie was simply an incredible live band. Steve Marriott was one of the greats, a very under rated guitarist and even though he was small he was a giant when it came to delivering vocals. They cerainly didn't get the airplay they deserved back then and now in the day of the 'canned' so called classic rock station, nothing has changed. I remember there would be about 4 of us who had to go out and buy the new Humble Pie album so we could hear them while everyone else bombarded us with KC and the Sunshine Band on the radio. As I recall Humble Pie didn't get much credit for such incredible talent even back in their hey day. To me it's BS that they aren't in the RRHOF.
